2011 Murrumbidgee Regional Landcare Awards

Nominations for the 2011 Murrumbidgee Regional Landcare Awards have now closed. The Awards are an opportunity for Landcare volunteers, schools and other land managers to be recognised for their good work, and to inspire and motivate others.

The 2011 Murrumbidgee Regional Landcare Awards, are held every two years, to recognise the achievements of the dedicated people who have committed their time to care for our environment and contribute to sustainable production.

Winners will be announced at the 2011 Murrumbidgee Regional Landcare Awards Presentation and Celebration event to be held on 4th May 2011.

The 2011 winners of the Landcare awards in the region will be eligible for nomination in the 2011 New South Wales Landcare Awards and if successful they will represent New South Wales at the National Awards.Categories are:

  • Education Award
  • Community Group Award
  • Individual Landcarer Award
  • Urban Landcare Award
  • Innovation in Sustainable Farm Practices Award
  • Indigenous Award
  • Local Landcare Facilitator/Coordinator Award
  • Young Landcare Leader Award
  • Local Government Landcare Partnership Award
  • Landcare Primary Producer Award
  • Natural Resource Management (NRM) Award

All the award categories align with the New South Wales and National Landcare Awards. Nomineees are not required to be affiliated with a Landcare group.
The 2011 Murrumbidgee Regional Landcare Awards are supported by the Murrumbidgee Catchment Management Authority (CMA) and Murrumbidgee Landcare Inc.
