Printer-friendly version
Date:
22 Aug 2011 - 8:00am

On this week long project in the Tumut region our team will be undertaking a range of interesting tasks including restoring the heritage gardens and commence implementing the landscape plan, building a new path to the ruins by cutting steps into the hillside, clearing unwanted vegetation from within and around the ruins, potentially working with a stone mason and concreter and learning and discovering the Adelong Falls heritage with local historians.

The cost of the week covers accommodation in comfy cabins, transportation to and from Canberra, breakfast, lunch and dinner for 5 days and equipment use.  For more information contact the office on 6247 7770 or canberra@conservationvolunteers.com.au.
