Erin Earth Spring Open Day - Wagga

Erin Earth will be holding their open garden day on Saturday 9th September, from 9.30 am to 1.00 pm.

The day will focus on Wiradjuri culture and our local environment, with the following features throughout the day:

• From 9.30 am - Cafe open (BBQ from 11.00 am)

• 10.00 to 12.00 - Weaving. Drop in and learn some weaving techniques as the Hands On Weavers demonstrate their craft

• 10.00, 11.00 and 12.00 - See Bernard Sullivan's award-winning film, Yindyamarra Yambuwan (Respect everything!), a collaborative project with Wiradjuri elders, exploring Yindyamarra

• 11.00 - Join Dick Green on a tour of the Bush Resource trail and discuss traditional uses of local plants, along with research on Wagga Wagga within a cultural resource landscape

• 12.00 - Join Pete Ingram as he talks about cultural burning and Caring for Country around Wagga
