Date:
29 Jun 2017 - 10:45am

The Drone and Technology day is an opportunity to provide growers and participants with up-to-date information about MLinew innovations that can be integrated into on-farm operations. It will also place the lens on future research — and consider what’s in store for growers in the next decade.

The one-day event will focus on cutting edge technologies with real-world case studies and applications, across crops and issues, and how it impacts on improving productivity – and returns. Hosted at the Yoogali Club Griffith, NSW on Thursday, 29 June 2017, the interactive agenda will feature evidence and insights of the various technologies and explore how they can be used in your farming business, rather than focussing on the pure theory behind them.

The cross-commodity event is a collaboration between IREC, Deakin University and Murrumbidgee Landcare Inc.

Delegates will each have the unique opportunity to experience Deakin's virtual reality and robotic haptics technologies and have the chance to win a new drone.
