Mastering erosion

When:  Saturday 29 October, 9.30am - 3.30pm
Where:  Pudman's Lane, Blakney Creek

Erosion is one of the major land management issues in the Gunning region.  Find out the latest thinking on how to control head cuts and other erosion issues on your land.  Learn how to read the landscape to avoid costly erosion in the future.  Attacking this problem the wrong way can make it worse - at the Mastering Erosion Workshop you'll find out the most common mistakes people make, recognise how to avoid these mistakes and learn the best practices tailored for each erosion issue you face.

Best of all, you don't need a large yellow bulldozer and thousands of litres of diesel to remedy many erosion hotspots.  You'll learn how to utilise materials on your property to get a handle on erosion.  These are tactics that are low cost and you can do them yourself.  Get the latest knowledge, participate in this 'hands-on' day and take control of your erosion with the very best strategy.  You can't afford to miss this day.

Gunning District Landcare is proud to offer this once-only day at no cost.  A not-to-be-missed opportunity to protect your greatest asset and equip yourself with the skills, knowledge and know-how to master erosion.

Lunch and morning tea provided.

Don't forget to RSVP to Helen on 0488-027 653 or gunningdistrictlandcare@gmail.com.
