The Trunkey Creek Bioblitz June 3-4
Join us at the K2W BioBlitz 2016, a 48 hour survey blitz of local plants and animals led expert ecologists. Learn about the wildlife in your backyard and contribute new sightings to the Atlas of Living Australia and the Hollows as Homes Register
There will be lots to see and do at our Trunkey Creek showground base camp including a series of interactive stalls and the chance to get hands on with some critters at the Taronga Zoomobile.

A chance for children to discover their local wildlife
Night with the Gliders ($20 - includes dinner, talk and spotlighting tour)
3 June, 6.00pm-9.00pm
Join us for dinner at the Black Stump Hotel Trunkey Creek to learn about the local populations of gliders with Peter and Judy Smith followed by a spotlighting tour!
Community Bioblitz (FREE)
4 June, 8.00am-4.00pm
An exciting day of surveying and other fun interactive activities suitable for the whole family
Location
Surveys will be run in the beautiful Crown Lands surrounding the Trunkey Creek Showground. At the same time ecologists will be conducting surveys at Abercrombie Caves, Copperhannia Nature Reserve and Pennsylvania State Forest - you will have a chance to hear what they’ve discovered at the Community BioBlitz.
What to bring
Make sure you are dressed for the bush - comfortable walking shoes, warm clothing, hat, insect repellent and sunscreen. And don't forget your binoculars!
