Presenters:
  • Janelle Jenkins, Mixed Farming Officer, Riverina Local Land Services – will present the local results from the “Trouble with Sub” project.
  • Dr Sofie De Meyer and Tim Hasket, Rhizobiologist, Murdoch University WA – will discuss the rhizobia and soils; and the results of a similar project from all the southern Australian states.
  • Dr Sue Orgill, Soil Scientist, NSW DPI - will discuss the linkages between soil carbon and soil nitrogen
  • Kristy Stone, District Vets, Riverina Local Land Services- will discuss any current animal health issues
  • Gemma Hawkins, Murrumbidgee Landcare Inc. – will talk about her new role as the Local Landcare Coordinator for the area
  • Nicole Maher & Jacinta Christie, Murrumbidgee Landcare Inc. – Nest Boxes Project
