Murrumbateman Landcare Group - Farm Walk
Primary tabs
There is no meeting at the Rec Hall in May, as we have a Farm Walk at 'Rugosa' Sunday May 8th 2016 starting at 9.30 am.
This property of 134 ha is being managed for conservation. Owners John and Michelle Storey extend a welcome to members to come and share experiences and consider future management strategies. Themes being discussed include dam and wetland management to improve water quality, vegetation and wildlife habitat. The walk will include the opportunity for enjoying the bush, and its bird and plant life.
Morning tea and a BBQ lunch will be provided and the event will finish at around 2.00 pm. Contributions of salad and sweet items would be most welcome but not required. Please see below for instructions on how to get there.
Please RSVP to Gill Hall by return email by Thursday May 5th and let us know if you will stay for the BBQ, and of any special dietary requirements.
