Maximising Renewable Energy Opportunites On Farm - Tumut

MLiThis workshop is designed for farmers involved in the grazing, orchard, fisheries and dairy
industries who are considering installing solar energy applications and farmers that already have
solar and want to find out how to optimise their technology.

Issues covered will include:
·  Understanding your electricity bill,
·  Ground source heat exchange – reduce heating and cooling costs by up to 60%,
·  Pump efficiency and variable speed drives for stock water and irrigation,
·  Maximising solar for stock, domestic, irrigation, intensive horticulture and industrial needs,
·  Battery storage and finance options,
·  Hear about a local energy efficiency and solar success story from local grower Ian Cathels of
Woodburn Orchards.
