Recognising Grasses & Identifying Grasses
Yanco Campus of Tocal College is conducting a ‘Recognising Grasses’ and ‘Identifying Grasses’ workshop at Yanco Agricultural Institute on 12 April and 13 April 2016 respectively.
Cost: Recognising Grasses $325.00 pp and Identifying Grasses $350.00 pp
Both commence: 8.30 am and finish at 4.30 pm each day
Recognising Grasses will develop the participant’s recognition of common weedy, native & desirable introduced grasses within an area & understand what they may indicate about the environment & management of a site. There is no assumed prior knowledge for this course.
Identifying Grasses will develop participant’s skills & knowledge to identify grass species anywhere in NSW using botanical keys & to develop a professional quality reference herbarium.
NOTE: Participants must have attended a Recognising Grasses course prior to attending the Identifying Grasses course, you will find further information regarding both courses in attached Information sheets.
