“Growing the Grazing Revolution” Field Day - Rye Park

This grazing management field day hosted by Boorowa Community Landcare is aimed at adopting sustainable and regenerative grazing practices. The day will be held at Tony & Jenny Magee’s property “Gunyah” Rye Park. Tony & Jenny were one of the recipients of recent Australia Day Landcare awards and have kindly offered to talk about their property and the changes that they have seen.
Dr Dean Revell from Revell Science, WA will be speaking about how shrubs contribute to nutrition, health and shelter of livestock.
Ben Hanrahan from Greening Australia will talk about Whole of Paddock Rehabilitation (WOPR) – Funding available and how landholders can sign up.
Paul Cavanagh will talk about grazing principles in general and introduce the afternoon session on species identification and planting/design layout in paddocks.
