New Small Farm Walk 'n' Talk

The newly established Small Farms Network - Capital Region is holding an on-farm Walk n Talk at Susan and Michael's property to share ideas with other landowners about the things to consider when starting out managing a property, whether you’re planning to buy, just bought or thinking about how to manage your  block. We will also have people from South East Local Land Services (LLS), Office of Environment and Heritage and Rural Fire Service who can answer your technical questions. Depending on who comes along, our walk n’ talk can include topics such as: 
·  Managing land to capability 
·  Property planning skills 
·  Pasture Identification skills 
·  Fire management issues
