“Delivering multiple benefit messages – A partnership with NRM”
Riverina & Murray region Workshop – Thursday 26 March
A GRDC funded project being delivered by Ag Excellence Alliance.
Hosted by Lockhart Ag Bureau at Lockhart Ex-Servicemen's Club, 83 Green St Lockhart, from 9am to 1pm followed by lunch.
Workshop objective is to identify the priority issues and opportunities that affect grain production and the natural resources in the region and develop action plans for collaboration and investment.
Expected workshop outcomes:
- participants have an understanding of the objectives and activities of the GRDC funded investment – “Delivering multiple benefit messages – A partnership with NRM”;
- identify and prioritise the issues that affect both grain production and the management of the natural resources in this region;
- determine desired outcomes and required practice change(s) for five of the identified priority issues;
- develop program logic (using MAKAT tool) and action plan for an effective approach to achieve identified outcomes and practice change;
- identify existing and prior work that has been or is being undertaken to address these issues;
- identify opportunities for partnerships between GRDC/grains industry R,D&E providers for collaborative delivery and opportunities to leverage funding
- Where to from here? identify key persons and/or organisations that will collaborate to progress and identified opportunities.
