The River Paddock Field Day

Printer-friendly version
Date:
23 Feb 2015 - 10:00am

The River Paddock Field Days (being run by Cooma Waterwatch and South East LLS) will look at management practices landholders can apply to their river paddocks to maximise their use for production, biodiversity and protection of water quality.  These 1/2 day events will be presented by Luke Pope and have a practical, production oriented focus, so are a good opportunity to ask questions and discuss issues and ideas, whether these are related to grazing, cropping or making hay.  The field days will also include a session on healthy river and riparian zones for those interested in improving biodiversity and river health.  The Bredbo field day is being run in collaboration with Bredbo Landcare.  The Dalgety field day will showcase the work of the Snowy River Biodiversity project.
