National Water Week
Primary tabs
Water must be used wisely if there is to be enough to meet the needs of future generations. Awareness about the amount of water used in everyday tasks is the first step in developing a responsible approach to water use. This year, National Water Week will focus on the importance of liveable communities on a national scale, in which sustainable water management is a key component. National Water Week will look to decision makers and the community to spark behavioural change and to ensure water is a top priority.
This musical animation introduces Ebenezer 'Eb' Droppinson, and his sister Florence 'Flo', who fall from their rain cloud into the upper reaches of the Murrumbidgee River near the Snowy Mountains. They travel past Canberra to Burrinjuck Dam and then wind their way along the Murrumbidgee River to arrive at Gundagai. Their journey takes them through Wagga Wagga to Berembed Weir near Narrandera.
