Guided spotlight walk for Biodiversity Month - Wagga Wagga

SpotlightingSeptember is Biodiversity Month which aims to raise awareness for the protection, conservation and enhancement of biodiversity in Australia. Council staff will be hosting a free 1½ - 2 hour guided spotlighting walk through Wilks Park.

Join in and meet some of our local nocturnal life such as Squirrel Gliders, Brushtail Possums and Southern Boobook Owls. Learn about the projects that have been undertaken to ensure their future in our City.

FRIDAY 12 SEPTEMBER 2014, 7pm

Meet at the Wilks Park amenities block just off Hampden Avenue, North Wagga Wagga. Please wear appropriate clothing and sturdy, enclosed footwear. We will have some spotlights but please bring your own torch if possible.
