Are you dedicated to caring for the land, championing better environmental practices and continually sharing your knowledge and time with others? Then you should nominate for the 2014 Bob Hawke Landcare Award.
The award celebrates the Landcare ethic by acknowledging people with a passion for improving our land through sustainable agriculture practices. The winner will receive a prize of up to $50,000, funded by the Australian Government to develop their knowledge and skills in sustainable land management.
In 2012, the first Bob Hawke Landcare Award was presented to Lynne Strong of Jamberoo, New South Wales who was recognised for her commitment, passion and leadership in sustainable agriculture through her award-winning dairy enterprise, Picture You in Agriculture.
