MCMATarcutta Creek has been selected as the priority sub-catchment to receive investment focus from the Murrumbidgee Catchment Management Authority (CMA) Sustainable Agricultural Landscapes (SAL) project this financial year.

Activities to be funded under this Priority Project include:

  1. fencing to land capability
  2. restoration activities on sensitive land (erosion and saline sites) through fencing and stock exclusion
  3. fencing and revegetation of riparian zones

Landholders interested in receiving incentive funding must participate in a targeted Catchment and Farm Management Workshop to be conducted by Murrumbidgee CMA in the local region.

On completion of the workshop, landholders may develop a project for their farm from the list of activities to be funded.
