Primary tabs
Date:
22 Nov 2013 - 5:00pm
Tarcutta Creek has been selected as the priority sub-catchment to receive investment focus from the Murrumbidgee Catchment Management Authority (CMA) Sustainable Agricultural Landscapes (SAL) project this financial year.
Activities to be funded under this Priority Project include:
- fencing to land capability
- restoration activities on sensitive land (erosion and saline sites) through fencing and stock exclusion
- fencing and revegetation of riparian zones
Landholders interested in receiving incentive funding must participate in a targeted Catchment and Farm Management Workshop to be conducted by Murrumbidgee CMA in the local region.
On completion of the workshop, landholders may develop a project for their farm from the list of activities to be funded.
