Community Planting - Glossy Black-Cockatoo Project

Come and join us plant up to 500 Drooping Sheoak seedlings as part of the Glossy Black-Cockatoo Project.

Fifty, a live Glossy Black-Cockatoo will be attending the day.

When:Wednesday 1 May, 9.30 am –12.30 pm. Followed by a BBQ.

What to bring: Please bring a hat, sunscreen, long sleeves, long pants, gardening gloves, sturdy boots, and a water bottle.

Where: 732 Old Cooma Road, Googong NSW.

Directions: From Queanbeyan drive south around 7 km, through Karabar and along Cooma Street/Old Cooma Road. The turnoff to the property is on the right shortly after Holcim Quarry and if you reach the Googong Dam turnoff you have gone too far -look out for the Greening Australia sign! There will be limited car parking so car-pooling is recommended.
