Many hands connecting communities

The forum will be held over three days from 3rd- 5th September 2013. The forum will be held at Newcastle with a number of field trips conducted around the region to showcase the environmental values and the amazing work being done by community groups, individuals and agencies to protect and enhance it.

Community Rate available
 
A Community Rate is available for delegates who are representing a volunteer based community organisation. The Early Registration rate (before 5th July) is just $350 and includes all forum materials, daytime catering for three days, most field trips, one ticket to the Welcome Reception and one ticket to the Forum Dinner and NSW Landcare Awards.


Keynote speaker: Costa Georgiadis
 
Costa Georgiadis is a landscape architect who has an all-consuming passion for plants and people - he knows how to bring out the best in both of them, and takes great pleasure in bringing them together. Costa believes in embracing and celebrating mother nature’s cycles and seasons and nurturing her balance, beauty and bounty organically. His holistic approach is all about gardening the soil and the soul.
 
As host and co-creator of Costa’s Garden Odyssey for SBS television, he caught the attention of the nation, sharing his knowledge and passions with one and all.   2013 sees him continue his journey as much-loved host of one of the ABC’s most 
iconic television programs, Gardening Australia.
