Farm scale renewable energy workshop

The Riverina Highlands Landcare Network is hosting a field day on harnessing wind, sun and water energy for on farm uses.
During the workshop a range of products will be discussed including:
- Water Driven Glockemann Pumps – for properties that have a Permanent River or Creek. Glockemann pumps do not require electricity or fuel and use water to do the pumping.
- Solar systems for use in lights, electric fences, etc
- Solar pumps - Photovoltaic solar modules which generate electrical power to drive electric pumps. These systems are available for gardens - fountains and waterfalls, irrigation, dams and bores
- Mini-Micro-Hydro - suitable for combinations of low heads between 1-4 meters and flow rates between 18 to 150 Liters per second.
- Wind Generator/Turbines - battery charging wind turbines
