Carbon Farming workshop - Griffith

Murrumbidgee Landcare, together with NSW Farmers, are presenting a free workshop on carbon farming for land managers. Come along to learn what carbon farming is all about, and what opportunities are available for land managers! The workshop will feature information sessions from experts in the field, along with a discussion session for all your questions to be answered.
The workshop will feature:
- David Eyre (General Manager of Research and Development, NSW Farmers) talking about how carbon farming works, practical steps for getting involved and agronomic considerations
- Chris Andrew (Greening Australia) talking about vegetation-based carbon schemes, with practical examples
- Andrew Bomm (Ricegrowers Association) talking about the opportunities, risks and business factors under the CFI from a rice industry perspective.
The workshop will be held at the Griffith Ex-Services Club (Jondaryan Avenue Griffith) on Monday 25th June, from 11.00 am to 3.00 pm.
