With his special local knowledge Mick will run a number of sessions addressing:
The impact of carbon policy on farm businesses, and the opportunities that might arise from the Carbon Farming Initiative. Mick will neatly synthesise detailed government policies and discuss opportunities relevant to new government rules and regulations affecting our mixed farming business needs.
Factoring risk into farm business decisions, particularly in relation to enterprise choice on mixed farms.  
 
 John Smith, District Agronomist NSW DPI, 
John will deliver a workshop on the potential impacts of climate change on cropping in our area. This presentation follows research on a local farm and some intensive modelling work. Possible adaptation options will be canvassed
