Printer-friendly version
Date:
8 May 2012 - 10:30am

Greening Australia, Lachlan CMA and Upper Lachlan Landcare and the Lachlan CMA are holding a field day for farmers to learn more about revegetation. Revegetation can be useful for a variety of purposes, including wind breaks for stock shelter, erosion control, improving biodiversity and Greening Australia's ‘Whole of Paddock Rehabilitation’ project.

The event will take place on Tuesday 8th May, from 10.00 am to 3.30 pm. The morning will be spent looking around ‘Red Hill’ (Crookwell), followed by a visit to ’Bolong’ (Laggan) in the afternoon. There will also be lots of practical information provided, as well as opportunities for funding.

Lunch and refreshments will be provided, but RSVPs are essential! If you would like to attend, please contact Lori Gould (Greening Australia) by Friday 4th May:

Be sure to bring along a hat, sturdy shoes, water bottle and lots of questions! If possible, please come in a 4 wheel drive (please let Lori know if you can bring a 4WD, when you RSVP).
