Learn the Basics of Beekeeping with Tarcutta Landcare Group

Printer-friendly version

Join Tarcutta Landcare Group and Mike James from the Wagga Wagga Amateur Beekeeping Group at Tarcutta RSL on the evening of Wednesday 6 July 2016 to learn how to keep bees and make honey.

Backyard Beekeeping is becoming increasingly popular, because as many beekeepers will tell you, there's nothing quite like harvesting your own honey, all while knowing that your bees are helping to pollinate gardens, crops and native vegetation all around you.

The workshop will cover all the basics you need to know to get started as an amateur beekeeper.

WHERE: Tarcutta RSL, 13 Sydney Road Tarcutta

WHEN: Wednesday 6 July, 6:30pm - 8:30pm

COST: Free for Tarcutta Landcare members, $15 for non-members. Free supper provided for all participants.

RSVP: Tuesday 5 July to Local Landcare Coordinator Maddy Gorham  mgorham@mli.org.au   0429 458 717

All ages welcome.
