Soil Health Field Day

North Berry Jerry Cemetery, 10km north of Coolamon.

You are invited to attend a community field day learning about the benefits of improved soil health and a range of simple techniques to examine soil health on your property. Dr. David Eldridge from the University of NSW will conduct a 'hands on' presentation in the paddock covering:

* the importance of soil structure
* the effects of stock concentration on infiltration
* the importance of soil crusts and soil animals

Morning tea is provided, please RSVP before the 22nd February to Danielle Smetana of the Murrumbidgee CMA on ph. 6932 3251 or email danielle.smetana@cma.nsw.gov.au. This Field Day will be run as part of the Grain and Graze project supported by the Murrumbidgee CMA.
