Bee hotels are collections of tiny hollows for the use of solitary bees looking for a good place to rest up and deposit some eggs. The wide-scale land-clearing that has occurred in Australia in recent decades has resulted in a general decrease in the availability of suitable habitat for our native bees. Bee hotels provide great alternative nesting sites, with the added bonus that they’re fun to make and add a quirky feature to your garden.
