Yass River Funding

The Yass River Linkages Project commenced earlier this year to support and extend the efforts of the Yass Area Network of Landcare Groups, Yass Landcare Group and others in restoring and rehabilitating sections of the Yass River. A number of landholders have taken up incentives for fencing, tubestock, direct seeding and alternative water for stock.

The good news is incentive funding is still available, particularly for landholders along the middle section of the Yass River between Gundaroo and Yass, and landholders downstream of Yass. Funding is available for works on the Yass River as well as tributaries and gullies.
