This update is to let you know of a number of opportunities for Landcarers for April 2015.

» Fungi: An Introduction to a Curious Kingdom

A much applauded workshop delivered by photographer and fungi enthusiast Alison Pouliot. The workshop will be of interest to photographers, farmers, gardeners and the curious alike. This workshop explores the diversity, ecoloHypholoma Aaustralegy and curiosities of the fungi kingdom.

» National Landcare Program grants

Deadline for Strategic Partnership 2015 grants delivered through Riverina LLS is Monday 13th April. Community Landcare groups are encouraged to apply. One of the requirements of the National Landcare Program is that 20% of funding is delivered to the community for local projects.

» Beneficial insects & biological control of pests

Responding to a growing interest in the Cootamundra district to get Landcare linking people again, this workshop presents a range of speakers and topics.

Date/time: Wednesday 22nd April 2015, 9.00am - 12pm.

Venue: Stockingbingal Bowling Club + site visit to “Flagstaff” the Stockinbingal property of Phil & Liz Lyne.
