Local Land Services boundaries announced
The final boundaries for the new Local Land Services regions in NSW have been announced. There is significant change in our region with the Murrumbidgee catchment now being part of both the South East and Riverina Local Land Services regions.
A map showing the boundaries of the 11 new LLS regions is now available to view online.
More information about the structure and functions of the LLS has also been released, including the structure of the LLS Boards, which will consist of 7 members per local board - four Government appointments and three ratepayer elected positions.
People interested in becoming Board members are encouraged to register their interest by emailing their contact details to local.landservices@dpi.nsw.gov.au they will then be sent an information pack on the selection process and next steps.
