Wagga Wagga Urban Landcare welcomes you to a "Weedbuster" morning as part of "Weedbuster Week" (October 6th – 13th)

Date: Sunday 7th October
Time: 9 - 12
Location: Wagga Wagga Beach

The morning will include:

• Weed walks
• Weed removal techniques demonstrations
• Native vegetation identification for species to be replanted along the river
• Information stand – local native plants and environment weeds
• Details on how you can become involved
• Activities for the kids - including "Woody the Weed"
• Free native plant for every family
• Morning tea

What is Weedbusters?

Weedbusters is an awareness program that works with the community to achieve sustainable land and water management, primarily through increased public involvement in weed management, education and awareness projects.
