Grains Research Update - Narrandera

The GRDC Grains Research Advisor Update for 2012 will be held at the Narrandera Ex-Services Club, Narrandera, on Tuesday 28th and Wednesday 29th February.

The Update will feature presentations from a range of industry experts, on topics of relevance to grain growers and advisors, including:

• Grain market drivers and influencers
• Digital technology
• Local herbicide resistance data (John Broster, Charles Sturt University)
• The future of chemicals (Jim Orson, National Institute of Agricultural Botnay, UK)
• Better fertiliser decisions (Simon Speirs, NSW DPI)
• Crop sequencing (Mark Peoples, CSIRO)

Registration costs $200 per day, or $300 for both days. There is also an Industry Dinner being held on the evening of Tuesday 28th February ($50 per head, registration essential).
