Applications are now open for the 2011 NSW Community Building Partnerships program. This program provides funding for community groups to invest in community infrastructure.
Grant funding of up to $300,000 is available for every electoral district in NSW, with an additional $100,00 available for selected districts (including Wagga Wagga) which have higher unemployment rates.
Funding may be available for projects which will provide community benefit through:
- Construction of new capital works,
- Refurbishment, repairs and maintenance to existing capital facilities, and
- The purchase of capital equipment (must have a life expectancy of greater than 15 years) that enables the delivery of new or enhanced community services.
Applications close on Monday 31st October 2011.
