Caring for Our Country - Open call for funding

The Caring for Our Country 2011-12 Business Plan has just been released, with applications for the Open Call funding now open. Applications will close on 30 May 2011.
The Open Call is the main avenue for competitive Caring for our Country funding. Applications need to be aligned with the targets under one or more of the Australian Government's Caring for our Country national priority areas:
- Sustainable farm practices
- Community skills, knowledge and engagement
- Biodiversity and national icons
- Increasing the National Reserve System
- Coastal environments and critical aquatic habitats
- Northern and remote Australia
