Molonglo Catchment Group Pest Animal Program Launch

The program for the launch of the Molonglo Catchment Group’s Pest Animal Pack has been extended to include Mike Braysher from the Institute of Applied Ecology at Canberra University. The member for Monaro, the Hon Steve Whan MP, will launch the pack with a short speech to be followed by presentations by Helen Cathles of Invasive Animals CRC and Mike. Helen will discuss the roll of IACRC in a national context and the importance of rural residential properties in the fight against pest animals. Mike will discuss integrated pest management with a focus on case studies relevant to rural residential landholders. If you are managing a small property be sure to come along and receive your Pest Animal Pack and listen to the informative presentations by Mike and Helen.

The presentations will be followed by a sausage sizzle with pest animals on the menu, we will be serving sausages made from deer, goat and pork.
