Riverina Local Land Services is offering opportunities for landholders to protect, restore and establish native vegetation communities.
This project focuses on a range of restoration activities that protect and restore nationally and state listed threatened species and ecological communities across the Riverina region.
Through this project assistance is available to landholders for the following on-ground works:
- fencing to enhance and manage native vegetation
- planting native vegetation
- planting trees for wildlife corridors
- fencing and planting native vegetation to protect wetlands, rivers, creeks and gullies.
- protection and creation of habitat for threatened species.
- pest and weed control
Note that funding is limited, and will be allocated on a first in, first served basis!
