Want to grow your own seedlings?
There are real benefits in collecting and growing your own seed from local native species as they are suited to local conditions and support native wildlife.
Sue Logie is the Seedbank Coordinator with Murray Local Land Services and is an expert in the field, with over twenty years experience working in revegetation. She is going to share her knowledge. How lucky are we! Come and join us.

The day will cost $15, with lunch and morning tea provided.
Please bring a water bottle, hat, long pants and enclosed shoes for a short field walk.

Meet Susan Logie
Susan Logie is a Seed Services Coordinator from Local Land Services.
Sue lives in a straw bale, solar house on a property on the edge of the Barmah Forest with her husband. She has a large garden which is all local native plants except for the herb and vegetable garden.
She worked for eight years with the Murray CMA in NSW as an Implementation Officer and Seed Service Officer and with Murray Indigenous Seed Services for four years.
She has worked for Greening Australia Riverina as a Seedbank Coordinator and with Goulburn Broken CMA as a Project Officer revegetating sand hills and seed collecting for a Seed Production Area Project.
She has been active in educating landholders, local government and the community in the importance and the benefits of local native species. She has a wealth of knowledge and experience in direct seeding, seed collection, processing and designing and establishing Seed Production Areas.
