Protecting parrots field day - Rankins Springs
Primary tabs
Date:
14 Sep 2018 - 10:30am
The Lachlan Fold Wildlife Action Group and Riverina Local Land Services invite you to Rankins Springs to learn all about the vulnerable Turquoise Parrot and the ‘Protecting Parrots’ project that’s underway.
You’ll learn more about the species, and see a demonstration on habitat restoration and management. We’ll then take a guided bird watching tour at a nearby destination to look for Turquoise Parrots and other bird species.
Please meet at the Rankins Springs Golf Course (Lake Cargelligo Road, Rankins Springs) at 10:30am. We will then all follow in our own vehicles to the bird watching site.
