Microbats on farms workshop - Young
Primary tabs
Microbats on farms - working for you while you sleep!
Young District Landcare is hosting a microbat workshop with guest presenter Michael Pennay. Michael is an expert and photographer who has researched bats for over 20 years in Australia, Papua New Guinea and the Solomon Islands. Michael will introduce the many 'undercover' bat species that call the Young district home, their characteristics, where they live and what they get up to around us each night in their hidden world under the cover of darkness. Learn why they are useful to have around, even if we can't see (or hear) them.
The workshop will include an update on Young District Landcare's Microbats of the Young District project.
This is a free event, with morning and afternoon tea provided. Venue is the Gleneagles Room, Young Golf Club.
