Anyone who has a concern about pest animal management is encouraged to attend an information session and comment on the draft plan.
The plan identified pest animal risks in our region, sets regional management priorities, and provides for the coordinated management of pest animals within and across our region.
The management of pest animals in the Riverina is a complex and challenging situation which cannot be ignored. We can only win the fight against pest animals by working in partnership. Pest animals pay little regard to property boundaries, therefore effective control requires us all to work together.
The consultation period is an opportunity for stakeholders, organisations and interested community members to provide feedback on the management of pest animals in our region and across the state.
The plan will be on public exhibition until 5pm Friday 20 April. For more information, download a copy of the plan and have your say: www.riverina.lls.nsw.gov.au/biosecurity/pestplan
