K2C Christmas working bee and lunch - Yass Gorge

Come along to a working bee at the Yass Gorge (9.30 to 11.00 am), followed by lemon myrtle iced tea and homemade muffins! While you are enjoying the morning tea, you'll also be able to listen to a series of short talks about the gorge, including:
- How far we’ve come, by Landcare Award recipient Ross Webster;
- The fascinating life of insects, by expert Kim Poulin;
- Bush-tucker plants, by Aaron Chatfield.

Meet at the corner of Grampian and O'Brien Streets Yass.
What you’ll need to bring: A hat, water bottle, gardening gloves (if you have them) and sturdy shoes.
We’ll supply:
- Cool drinks, cups, plates, a light lunch of fruit, salads and muffins made by K2C’s caterer, Ryl Parker;
- Tools, equipment.
