Horticulture stakeholder consultation workshop - Wagga

Regional Development Australia Riverina are holding a series of horticulture stakeholder consultation workshops, with facilitator Clinton Muller. RDA Riverina is examining the skills issues and shortages in the horticulture industry of the Riverina. This includes the irrigation crops of citrus, tree nuts and vegetables, the wine grape industry and the cooler climate apple industry.
RDA Riverina has collected anecdotal evidence of skills issues in the Horticulture Industry of the Riverina. This study will examine the available evidence through tools such as literature review, data collection from industry, training providers and community consultation to determine if there are issues affecting the horticulture industry in regards to skills and if so suggest strategies to address these skills issues.

Yanco - Tuesday 18th July 2017, 10 am - 2.30 pm at Murrumbidgee Rural Studies Centre Yanco
Wagga Wagga - Thursday 20th July 2017, 10 am - 2.30 pm at the National Wine & Grape Industry Training Centre CSU Wagga
Batlow - Friday 21st July 2017, 9 am - 12.30 pm at the Batlow RSL Club
