Riverina LLS Funding Program 2017-18
Primary tabs
Riverina land managers will benefit from an injection of $2.5 million in funding through the 2017-18 Riverina Local Land Services Funding Program. The extensive incentive program will assist land managers to carry out on-farm activities that support increasing farm productivity and improving natural landscapes within the Riverina.
Funding is available in the folowing categories:
- Productive farms: Funding to assist land managers with increasing the productivity and sustainability of their farms (eg projects aimed at enhancing soil health, maximising groundcover and reducing erosion)
- Natural landscapes: Funding to assist land managers to increase and improve the native vegetation on their farms, with a focus on state-listed threatened species and ecological communities (eg projects that plant native vegetation, fence and enhance existing native vegetation, pest and weed control).
The availability of various projects and activities varies depending on your location in the region. Applications close on 30 September 2017.
For more information, visit the Riverina LLS website.
These projects are offered by Riverina Local Land Services through funding from the Australian Government's National Landcare Programme and Catchment Action NSW.
