LEARN HOW TO  KEEP BEES AND MAKE HONEY

Earlier this year Tarcutta Landcare and Mike James, from the Wagga Wagga Amateur beekeeping Group, hosted an evening at the Tarcutta RSL where participants learnt the theory of beekeeping. We now offer Part II of this series as an opportunity to learn about the practical side of beekeeping.

The Wagga Wagga Amateur beekeeping Group are bringing demonstration hives to Tarcutta for a one-day introductory course in beekeeping. You will get to handle bees and learn how to identify eggs, larvae, pollen and honey inside your hive.

Participants will leave with an understanding of how to handle bees with confidence and respect.
