Scottsdale Community Planting - Bredbo

Welcome to our first planting event of the year! Join the Upper Murrumbidgee Demonstration Reach team, Greening Australia and Bush Heritage Australia for a planting overlooking the Murrumbidgee River. This event will be capped at 50 people due to the size of the site, but World Environment Day is just around the corner on 5 June. More details on that planting soon.

Date and time: Sunday 8th May, 9.30am to 12.30pm, followed by lunch

Location: Scottsdale Reserve, 3897 Monaro Highway, Bredbo

How to get there: Self-drive or catch the GA mini-bus (seats limited to 11).
The mini-bus will leave Greening Australia, Kubura Place, Aranda at 8.00am, pick up at Kambah Village (Marconi Cres) at 8.20am, returning by 3.00pm.
Scottsdale is located 78km south of Canberra (4km north of Bredbo). Look for the pencil pine on your right after crossing Gungoandra Creek. Allow one hour if driving.

What to bring/wear: Hat, long sleeves, long pants, enclosed footwear, gloves, water bottle, and sunscreen. Tools and instructions provided on site.
