This one day course is designed for weed professionals or people working in natural resource management who require knowledge of water weed species as part of their employment. Live plant specimens are used to outline key identification features to distinguish between native look-a-likes and noxious weeds.

Morning tea, Lunch & afternoon tea provided
The course provides participants with skills in water weed identification including the following –
- water weed habitats including common areas where water weeds invade
- Impacts and vectors of spread
- Legislation requirements
- Recognising plant characteristics
- Correct disposal of aquatic plant material
- Early detection survey guidelines.
Participants are encouraged to bring plants along for identification
