From data to decisions…. how far have we come? This is a showcase of GRDC’s investment in soil biology covering:
- New measures of soil biology to monitor the quality of cropping soils
- Management options for controlling microbial N & P release and C capture
- Disease suppressive soils; where are they and how can we build them
- Herbicide impacts on soil biology
Special guests including Dr Jack Gilbert, Argonne National Laboratories, Chicago USA, covering a global view of soil microbes and their relevance in food production systems, and grain growers who will provide an on-ground perspective on soil biology and knowledge needs.
