Lachlan Fold Wildlife Action Group will meeting on Sunday 16th March at 12 noon at Mark & Helen Dwyer’s property “Never Despair” near Rankins Springs. (directions following)

Program so far:

  • sausage sizzle (BYO Drinks & Chair)
  • Annual General Meeting
  • General Meeting to discuss construction and installation of our next batch of nest boxes (72 large & 24 smaller), funding options & bird count planning
  • Special Guest –Phil Dixon (& wife Sue) of Rural Third Eye Cameras (RTEC) of Culcairn is keen to attend and give us a rundown on use of cameras, setting up, options available etc. for all styles of cameras used for machinery, surveillance or wildlife purposes.   • Hike up a hill
  • Glossy Black Cockatoo waterhole count 6pm -7pm (you might like to bring a few refreshments!!)

We would appreciate as many people as possible attend so we can plan our movements with everyone’s opinions considered. Please notify me if you are able or not able to attend for catering purposes.(Unless you’ve already given me your apology)

Directions: From Rankins Springs – continue west (towards Hay) for 12km to Munro’s Road (2km past Griffith Rd) Turn Right, then about 5km White mailbox on Left with “Nil Desperadum”. We will be at the house on the left. Milbrae Quarry is on the same road – Beware of gravel trucks!!!
