Binalong LandcareBinalong Landcare & NSW DPI Yass invite you to attend a farm walk on “Glenroy” Binalong which includes a visit to the Native Pasture & Alternative Fertiliser Trial.

The Native Pasture & Alternative Fertiliser Trial is a project to investigate a range of alternative fertiliser products for use on native perennial grass based pastures in the Yass district to increase soil fertility and pasture productivity.

The farm walk on “Glenroy” showcases the restoration work undertaken by Geoff Henderson, winner of the 2013 Murrumbidgee CMA Individual Landcarer Award, and provides an opportunity to visit the plots on “Glenroy” which have been part of the Native Pasture & Alternative Trial for 5 years. Spring is a good time to visit the site to observe responses to the different fertilisers after the winter lock-up period.

All interested landholders are most welcome to attend.
