13.3.3.High risk days

On high risk days you should also:

• Enclose open areas under your decks and floors.
• Install fine steel wire mesh screens on all windows, doors, vents and weepholes.
• Relocate flammable items away from your home including woodpiles, paper, boxes, crates, hanging baskets and garden furniture.
• Seal all gaps in external roof and wall cladding.

On days of Catastrophic fire danger rating leaving is the ONLY option to ensure you and your families' survival and on days of Extreme fire danger rating leaving is the safest option
